About this event

Transformational breathwork is a beautiful opportunity to heal using the resource abundant to us all: the breath of life.

Breathwork is an opportunity to renew, cleanse and revitalize your deepest parts. Breathwork can be a deep healing technique that accesses deep emotions, trauma release and spiritual guidance. We will use a conscious, connected breath through our mouth, which puts the body in a place of physical relaxation while also activating the autonomic nervous system, allowing deep-seated wisdom to find a space to release itself.

Many people have said it can be a tremendous psychedelic experience, going deep in the body, releasing trauma, and also powerfully calling in the life experience that you want to live. My previous clients have all commented on how physical an experience it is, so please be prepared that this can be a very intense experience; it is not like meditative pranayama. I have been so honored to have held space for those doing such deep work.

Details to prepare

For the breathwork session, please refrain from eating one hour before.

Wear comfortable clothes, and create a space for yourself where you won't receive any interruptions.

It's important to be lying flat on your back, with some neck support, and a blanket handy if you get cold.

Laying on a yoga mat works great

Have a journal nearby and water bottle handy.

If you would like, bring any sacred objects that you find meaningful for the altar.

Please note

Transformational breathwork uses a conscious connected breath, which is a deep breath in and out through the mouth.

In that process you can experience many physical sensations including:

- emotional release

- desire to cry, yell, or shake

- sensation of energy moving through the body

- tingling, light headaches, and other physical sensations

- tetany, which is an over-oxygenation of the body. Often times this feels like your hands go into a claw position. This is very normal and will all go away after the breath work is over.

PRIVATE  BREATHWORK CONTAINERS

I offer in-person and online breathwork ceremonies for individuals and groups. Breathwork can be such a transformational experience, and I have found that the best way to support an individual's transformation is to create a multi-month breathwork container. I would be happy to tailor this container to your needs. Feel free to book a call below and we can chat.
